"My father was under hospice care with a previous agency, but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to change agencies. Liberty Creek Hospice was recommended. Our family was very apprehensive and upset about this change because of the unknown, and we lived out of state. My father suffered from dementia, so change and the unknown were a double negative. Celeste from Liberty Creek Hospice contacted me to make the necessary arrangements for transfer. She approached me with patience and understanding. She assured me my father would get the best of care. Initially, my father did not take too well to the change, but the staff at Liberty Creek Hospice took on the challenge of making my father feel safe. They provided the level of care he needed and gained his trust. They kept us informed every step of the way. We felt more at ease and the guilt of not being present for my father diminished because the staff went above and beyond to not only do their job, but they embraced my father as if he were their family. "My family is eternally grateful to the staff at Liberty Creek Hospice for the awesome care they provided to my father. The caregivers were always willing to try new approaches in his daily routine to make him comfortable. Several of the staff were only there briefly but the manner in which they treated my father will never be forgotten. Eunice, Reuben and the caregiver who worked with them provided extraordinary one-on-one care that far exceeded our expectations. Celeste was prompt in answering questions or recommending new techniques or equipment that helped to keep him comfortable. She was totally responsive to phone calls or texts at anytime night or day. Putting my beloved Grandpa to hospice was not easy decision for our family let alone finding a good hospice agency that will provide excellent care to your loved one. Liberty Creek Hospice provided our family that assurance that my Grandpa will get the family care that we are looking for. Celeste was very hands-on and updated me and my family through everything. Christian RN helped us a lot. He took his time preparing us and he really took care of my grandpa like his own. We appreciate everything that you guys have done for my Grandpa even if it was just a short period of time.
